Новизною роботи є визначення сутнісних ознак дифузії інновацій, дифузії резуль¬татів інноваційної діяльності, п’яти її характеристик (просторової, соціальної, технічної, часової, управлінської), аналізування та виокремлення підходів до трактування цих понять вітчизняними та зарубіжними авторами, взаємозв’язку підходів до трактування поняття “дифузія інновацій” та його характерів і графічного подання, а також доведення доцільності використання словосполучення “дифузія результатів інновацій¬ної діяльності” і запропоновано власне його трактування.

THE ESSENCE OF CONCEPT “DIFFUSION OF RESULTS
OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY”

The novelty of the article is to determine the essential features of diffusion of innovations, diffusion of results of innovative activity, its five characters (spatial, social, technological, time, management), analysis and separation of approaches to the interpretation of these terms by national and foreign authors, the relationship approaches to interpretation the term “diffusion of innovations” and its characters and its graphical representation as well as proof of the feasibility of using the phrase “diffusion of results of innovative activity”.
Significant theoretical aspects of the innovations contained in the works of a large number of domestic and foreign scientists. The research the concept of diffusion of innovation involved in such foreign scholars like S. Baran, F. Bass, K. Dennis, J. Bogdanienko, E. Rogers, D. Kincaid, G. Moore, J. Coleman, G. Tarde, B. Ryan, N. Gross and others. In Ukraine, this subject did not find so many supporters.
The issue is devoted to a series of innovative works of foreign and domestic scientists in a wide range of research, but the diffusion of results of innovative activity hardly paid attention and there are different interpretations of the concept. In addition, existing research diffusion of results of innovative activity sufficiently separated, multidirectional and no common idea of this phenomenon. Therefore, this issue requires further attention.
The research goal is determine the essential features of diffusion of innovations, diffusion of results of innovative activity, analyze and isolate the approaches to the interpretation of these terms by different authors, and to prove the feasibility of using the phrase “diffusion of results of innovative activity”.
The majority of scientists interpret innovation as the final result (in tangible or intangible form) of innovative activity. Therefore, in order to emphasize the impact of the diffusion of objects to describe the concept of “diffusion of innovations” it is appropriate to use the phrase “diffusion of results of innovative activity”.
Since there is no unity in the selection of the essential features of the term of “diffusion of innovations”, we have researched the interpretation of the term by different authors.
The research shows that the concept “diffusion of innovation” is determined not always clear, since it is based on several interrelated characteristics. These characters can be identified in the definition of a minimum of five (spatial, social, technological, time, management).
Following the completion of scientific sources were identified and differing vectors ambiguity in the interpretation of the term “diffusion of innovations” by various authors. Therefore, we consider it necessary to distinguish resulting aspect of diffusion of innovation and, consequently, propose to treat the diffusion of results of innovative activity engineering companies as a systemic process of dissemination of new or improved products or license its production to communication channels among potential consumers (users) in time and space.
The existing diversity in the interpretation of diffusion of innovations is probably also possible due to the large number of species of the phenomenon of diffusion of innovations, including diffusion of results of innovative activity of enterprises. Therefore, the goal is to further research the classification and typology of diffusion of results of innovative activity of enterprises.
